Currated by one of our favorites, Ally Takeuchi has put together a custom toy show hosted by Black Maria Gallery entitled Mutation. This show features a long list of talented artists who are very familiar with toy customizing. The roster includes 64 Colors, Brent Nolasco, Bryan Collins, Button Eyes, Camden Noir, Draifet, Jeremiah Ketner (custom shown above), Kalypzo, Kat Brunnegraff, Kendra Binney, Kill Taupe, Motorbot, Mark Basa, Nathan Hamill, Okedoki, Podgy Panda, Reactor 88, Shaun Wightman, TyleR, Zombie Monkie, and Rosie O’Donnell. We all know Rosie is a huge philanthropist and most of us are aware she has become a huge fan of the Munny and has been selling customs on her etsy. She will have several munnys for sale at the show and the proceeds will go to her charity Rosie’s Broadway Kids. Opening reception takes place on Saturday, August 15th from 7-10:30PM.
