As we’ve already mentioned Kicktoys will officially launch their BEit Dude figures this Friday evening at Toy Qube in Flushing, NY. The BEit Dude offers a personalized spin on the platform concept by inviting collectors to customize the blank faces by drawing, painting, or adding a photo or graphic. For the celebration, several artists have customized Beit Dudes including Brent Nolasco, Cris Rose, Dacosta!, Duncan Poon, Keith Poon, Kidlew, Lou Pimentel, Motobot, Nakanari, Nancy Chen, NEMO, PON and Sketchguy.
Since previews are always fun, here’s a look at the customs from Nakanari (above) and Brent Nolasco (below). Enjoy and be sure to drop by ToyQube this Friday if you’re around NYC. Great stuff from both in more or less their signature styles. While we like pretty much all of Nolasco’s customs, his mash-up style in effect here is particularly sweet.
