Dacosta Bayley’s quest to pack the essence of his DCTO figures into a smaller format is almost over. The 3” Chibi Charms coming shortly from adFunture will be released in a 10 luck color artist series (each color marks a different lucky charm) — Dacosta!, Cameron, MAD, Charuca, Touma, Leo Espinosa, Julie West, Itokin Park, Jesse Hernandez and Bulpa. The first two off the line are from Dacosta and MAD (rocking the black ‘n gold ‘ddidas style).
From the beginning, Dacosta has been careful to keep DCTO and now the Chibi Charms true to the source inspiration – Daruma dolls and the surrounding Japanese culture. Props to him carrying through on the overall aesethic vision.
