For the hardcore collector, Super Festival is one of the highlight Japanese toy shows. The twice annual show features some wicked Kaiju artists doing their thing for the love of it not for the glam and certainly not for the fortune. Super Festival 48 went down on January 11th and our man in Japan, Luke Rook, was on-hand to bring back some of the heat in photo form.
Shown above is Ilanena’s exclusive Godzilla-Ya Tin Version of his Dai Kaiju Card Monsters figures. This collaboration is available directly from the Tokyo area antique toy shop and online. This edition uses special paint to create a homage to the look and feel of vintage tin hero and kaiju toys. It’s available for 5000 yen (~ $55 USD).
