Will Sweeney has previously released two vinyl figures — Helmut the Hot Dog Man and the Kebab Henchmen from his Tales from Greenfuzz comic series. Now, ThreeZero has released his most ambitious vinyl to date — the SU2CV (w/ Frite Gunner Kommandant).
This premium low-run piece measures out at 13″ long and 11″ high. This first edition is limited to just 50 pieces and for the moment is only available in Japan through the famed honeyee.com. It will drop in the Undercover stores in Japan next Month.
The piece has an undeniable wow factor. Definitely stare worthy. The details are crisp and the design is seductively comical. We’re glad to see high-end products even if the timing is slightly unfortunate given the troubled economy. Nevertheless, it’s important that companies occasionally push the boundaries to move things forward.
