This is one of those news items that we lost track of, and honestly it may be too late to score one of these, but it merits a post nonetheless. Wunderland War just dropped their White Tiger Gang Crazy 88 figure (limited to 192 pieces) . Yes, it’s pretty dope – love the pose and the short samurai sword. This is a variation on the original and I’ll say classic Monkey Assassin toy.
But beyond the figure the really interesting part is the price. 1 Cent ( + S/H). Vinnie decided in the light of the global financial crisis that has people panicked and feeling like they can’t afford anything, he would give away this figure. It’s his way of giving back to those that have supported him and his work in the past, and are simply too strapped to purchase another toy. He also found inspiration in Banksy’s piece “ The Joy of Not Being Sold Anything”. Very cool sentiment plus the figure is pretty sweet. Finally – Kill Bill is still an awesome movie!
