kaNO will drop his new original figure Bodega from Bic Plastics at myplasticheart nyc next Friday, November 7th. The figure is based on the liquid staple of the bodega, quarter water – cheap fuel for the blistering hot days of summer. Things aren’t always serene in the city though, so kaNO’s Bodega is armed with a shank and brass knuckles.
The 6” figure is pretty dope – a smug yet quirky creature born out of the culture of the Bronx. It’s urban all the way – not just because it’s tough but because it’s everyday. As much as we like the old-school spray head, we’re digging the pseudo frosted bottle look.
To round out the event, kaNO will offer five original Bodega paintings. Music will be provided by DJ Kula and expect plenty of Bodega fare with quarter water and ghetto snacks for the ultimate in flava. The drop is sponsored by Bombin’ Magazine .
