Born in Hawaii, LA painter Oddzoo will offer 15 or so paintings and drawings for his Diverge solo opening in the front room of the Carmichael Gallery this evening Saturday, September 6th from 8 PM to Midnight. The show reflects the results of unpredictable life changes – adjustments, lessons, new possibilities.
This is our first exposure to Oddzoo and we’re impressed. His work (especially his older pieces) seems to blend graff-based elements with more contemporary ones for an arresting look.
