Baby Tattooville ‘08 – the second installment of book publisher Baby Tattoo’s limited-edition art retreat will be held on the weekend of October 3rd through the 5th at the historic Mission Inn in Riverside. Currently there are only 12 spots still available for the event (50 total).
Attendees will interact with the featured artists through panels, demonstrations and informally throughout the weekend. The finalized list of featured artists is quite impressive – Ana Bagayan, Glenn Barr, Dave Cooper, Bob Dob, Joe Ledbetter, Brandi Milne, Daniel Peacock, Shag, Amy Sol and Michael Whelan. In addition, many of last year’s artists will be attending as invited guests.
In addition to the weekend’s programming, the included limited-edition art goodies are a highlight of the event. While more is certainly to be revealed as we get closer to the 4th, we do know that each attendee will receive special hand-customized “Black Eye” versions of Bob Dob’s Luey figures (STRANGEco), small hand-done drawings from Ana Bagayan and a special limited-edition Beyond Baby Tattooville print on wood from Ragnar (all shown above). We expect goodies from many of the event sponsors which include Billy Shire Fine Arts, Dark Horse, Diesel Fuel, M Modern, Munky King, Murphy Design, Pop Cling, Pressure Printing, Riverside Art Museum and STRANGEco.
Baby Tattooville is a unique event for serious art collectors. If art’s your passion then this is an event to be strongly considered.
