To celebrate and promote the release of FaceBreaker, an action-oriented boxing game for next-gen consoles, EA Sports commissioned twelve artists to recreate the game’s characters as custom Munnys. Specifically, there’s Brick by Brent Clowater, Steve by Kimberly Cairns, Kiriko by Nomi Chi, Voodoo by Amanda Rude, Sparrow by Angela Ling, Spin by Colin Moore, Molotov by Duke Barstow, Romeo by English, Socks by Bentone, Kekoa by Mark Jansen, and Ice by Mark Atomos Pilon. While we’ve seen video game related custom figures created by fans, I think this may be the first actual official PR project involving customs (though I’m happy to be proven wrong). The start of a trend ? More pics after the jump.
