Design House and Creative Collective Section Seven opened their Topografika show @ Wonderful Union Gallery in Seattle this past Saturday (5.10.08). Subtitled Layerscapes and Lifeforms, the three members of Section Seven — Jason Keimig, Jeremiah Whitaker, and Craig Erickson –presented work across several mediums (vinyl, sculptural, interactive, and print) exploring creatures and the worlds they inhabit. Guest artist Huck Gee contributed custom Munnys as part of a show installation. Huck’s been raving about the virtual creatures which followed participants around the room — def the highlight of the show. Be sure to check out the opening reception Flickr set.
