MINDstyle’s Scavengers by Kathie Olivas are the artists first blind-boxed original toys. Ever since the original announcement at Toy Fair, collectors have been patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for these to drop. The wait is almost over. Series 1 featuring seven figures (6 + 1 chase) will be released on June 20th, 2008 for a suggested retail of $11.99 per blind box. The beautifully designed mini-figures come in a special elegant
flip-top magnetic latch box complete with slip cover with a designed
created by Kathie Olivas and Rob Schwager. The ratio for the figures are as follows:

Each of the six regular figures will have a run of under 2000 pieces. The randomly inserted chase figure is limited to 300 pieces. MINDstyle will also offer exclusive variants that will be sold separately from select retailers including Cardboard Spaceship (Santa Cruz)
