We teased you earlier this week. Now, here’s the first look at Cameron Tiede’s Melvin – his first limited edition, hand-painted resin figure. You can see it on his face, Melvin’s sneaky and a bit mischeivous. He stands 6" tall at the tippy tip of his horns. These shots are of a proto Cameron hand-painted today. He’ll be on display this Sunday at VTN in sculptor Julie B’s Pretty in Plastic booth. I could ramble on about how resin is in many ways the ‘new vinyl’, but let’s just say it’s cool to see artists exploring this medium. Click through for more pics.
