WW II Sharkys from ToyQube

Designed by Keith Poon, the  Sharkys   are about to make a 2nd strafing run from ToyQube. Huck Gee’s two WWII fighter  inspired Sharky designs (above) were a hit with collectors last year.  So this year he’s back riffing on the British Spitfire.  His new design will be available in two colorways — color and mono. The incoming Sharkys were shown at ToyQube’s NYCC booth.   Part of the fun of Sharkys are the accessories that fit into the mouths.  These fighters will come with a variation on the standard bomb  — it’ll be twisted and ripped towards the back end (not pictured). Frank Kozik will also take to the skies with a German inspired design – color and black editions.

Huck’s mono and Frank’s black design will be offered as ToyQube SDCC ’08 exclusives (100 pieces each) and will likely sell for $75 or so.  Huck and Frank will square off with a joint signing at San Diego. Each of the color designs will be limited to 400 pieces. Click through for more pics.
