As previously posted, Alice Chan and Tim Tsui each opened their own solo shows @ Bodhi in London this past Friday. Triclops – Apeman and Robotboy sent back their impressions of the evening and lots of pics including some nice detail shots of Alice’s work. Thanks guys! Click through for more pics.
"A fantastic time was had by all, Tim and Alice were
incredibly friendly, signing purchases for the fans and generally being
lovely. I felt I had to buy a Metal Minci because it had a heady
combination of robot and monkey (always a winning combo), Tattooman
also mentioned that Tim had only brought 10 to sell and they were
proving really popular!
Tim and Alice made great use of the
space at Bodhi, filling every nook and cranny with prints, paintings,
toys and of course those amazing Da Customs. Tetsujin and Batman were
firm favourites with the crowd which included Miranda and Nick and the
extended posse from Clutter Magazine, Kenn Munk who was going direct
from the show to the airport, Nick Mannion and the newly Mrs Nick
Mannion from Supermodified Studios and even the Grand Toy Poobah, Aidan
from Playlounge."
