To kick off Toy Fair ’08, MINDstyle and Kaching Brands dropped several new releases at The Showroom NYC this past Sunday evening (2.17.08). MINDstyle released an extremely limited white and pink 8" version of their Buff Monster art toy (100 pcs). They also dropped their Bloody Valentine Horselington from EWOK
5MH and Kaching Brands released the Cookies n’ Cream version of
Sket One’s Ripple (black flocked). Buff Monster and Sket One were on-hand to sign the new figure for collectors. Various NYC artists and industry folk made it out to the event including Ron English and NYC Lase. Buff and Ron took a shot with execs from Sanrio (above) — new Kitty business ? Only time will tell.
