Updated: Ice Bat will be about 6 inches tall.
After a few hits on both the UGLY Blog and IntheYellow.com, the first UGLY Kaiju has been revealed. David and Sun-Min Horvath have taken the plunge Kaiju-izing their popular Ice Bat figure. Ice Bat in vinyl is reborn. The Kaiju version has a scale pattern across most of the body and the first version is a nice deep translucent blue with classic gray spray. Compared to the previous Critterbox release, this new one is a somewhat superdeformed version. Cute. Similar in paint treatment to the upcoming Chupacabra release. It will be produced by Intheyellow.com, presumably in Japanese vinyl, and will drop in February. No word on size yet, checking… This new Ice Bat will stand about 15 cm tall (~ 6 inches) — nice size.
