Luke at Lulubell has been working on a humdinger of a show featuring three talented artists, each of whom sculpts his own figures with ‘pure’ results — Dehara (Japan), Wilfrid Wood (UK) and Le Merde (USA). Scheduled for February ’08 (exact date to come), each artist will be in attendance. People go back and forth on whether something is an ‘art toy’ — these three artists all bring new meaning to the label. If there ever was a time to purchase a plane ticket to Tuscon — this might be it.
