Back in February we came away from NYCC impressed with Shultzo’s innovative CompatiBall figures. In a nutshell, each design features two identical halves that can be joined together to form a round ball figure. Cool concept. Shultzo’s considerable commercial 3D design experience (MTV, Nike, Budweiser and more ) shows through with the CompatiBalls, his first production art toys.
Both TigerBall and FroggyBall are slated to drop in December for $75 each from Toy Tokyo distriubtion. Each polyresin figure stands 5" tall and is limited to 250 pieces (only 100 of each before ’08). If you’re looking for something different with a cool twist, check ’em out.
