Daniel and Johnny Monahan will debut their eagerly awaited first art toy, Sancho, with two release events featuring the extremely limited Marigold Sancho (50 pieces, pictured above). The first 25 Marigold Sanchos will be released at Toy Tokyo in NYC on Thursday, November 29th, 2007 from 6 to 9 PM. The NYC event will be followed by the release of the remaining 25 Marigold pieces at Subtext in San Diego on Saturday, December 1st, 2007 from 6 to 10 PM. The individually numbered Marigold Sanchos will be available at the release events for $125 (includes Sancho, Ostrich, and Toro). In addition to the Marigold, the Turquoise Sancho ($99) will also be available at both events.
We’re stoked — less than a month ‘il Sancho drops. It’s been a long trip but based on the production sample pics the payoff will be well worth it. Sancho is set to be one of the standout releases of ’07.
