Pensive, Pernicious and Pervasive — Animals rule Vivisect Playset. Curated by Luke Chueh and Gallery 1998, the annual art show hits its stride with round 4 opening on Saturday, December 1st from 7 to 10 PM at Gallery 1988 San Francisco. After 3 rounds at LA, Vivisect heads to the ‘bay for the first appearance in SF. Loaded with talent, Round 4 features established stars as well as exciting rising talent — familiar faces + new ones, a nice mix.
The evening will also feature Chu-Kins a special opportunity for fans and collectors to get autographs and collaborative sketches from Luke Chueh and Greg "Craola" Simkins. Finally, 1988 will release a print of Craola’s "Winter’s Knight" painting which was featured in his recent I’M SCAR3D show. The print measures 16 x 20" and is limited to 75 pieces for $150 each. So if you’re in the bay area, mark down December 1st for top flight night of art.
