Proto Monday >> MARS-1's Smokestack

Happy Labor Day!  For this holiday edition of Proto Monday, we have the first public look at MARS-1's newest vinyl figure, the 9" tall Smokestack, coming from STRANGEco.  These pics are of a test pull from the master mold which has been  hand-painted by MARS-1.  Based on one of his original paintings, MARS-1 fans and sharp-eyed readers will recognize that a much smaller Smokestack was previously released in the Invisble Plan minifig series.  This new 9" version (shown alongside the minis) is a limited-edition figure and will ship with an array of accessories (unpictured).  Large MARS-1 figures are few and far between -- this one has a vaguely tribal feel  contrasted with the metaphysical sci-fi influences of his prior figures.  Now that one of the Invisible Plan figures is going big, we're wondering if others will follow and which ones.

Waouh ! I just love Mars-1 so much, he's one of my favorite artists when it comes to toys. The Invisible Plan series were among the best mini series ever.
