So you’ve seen a few customs from Super7’s Monster Mash event going down October 6th, 2007 from 7 to 10 PM at their SF store. Here’s a look at several new toys dropping at the event. First up are all three Fauna Resin Figures designed by Nathan Jurevicius based on his commercial spots for MTV Canada and produced by Bigshot Toyworks. These are sick — especially the ‘tongue’ one. Each is limited to 75 figures for the USA. Monster Mash is the only place to get ’em stateside. Been thinking about resin as an excellent alternative to vinyl for super-micro runs and as a means of exploration — these are some of the nicest we’ve seen yet by far.
Next up, we have Le Merde’s Halloween pumpkin scout figures (NOT the official name). This new sculpt builds on some of his previous figures — notable addition is the hat. We’re not done… Bwana Spoons’ Blood and Guts Steven the Bat is dropping at the show as well — right on, we dig Steven. By my count this is the 5th colorway which may mean it’s the last one.
Finally, check out the first production release of Buster Call of Japan’s Beetlar figure. SICK stuff.
