Doktor A – Spit and Polish @ Cardboard Spaceship

Doktor A is without a doubt one of the top toy artists around. He’s consistently created top-flight custom toys combining a strong painting style with excellent technical 3D skills (mashups, use of found objects). Now, those lucky enough to live near Santa Cruz will be able to enjoy Dok’s tremendous talent up close and personal. Cardboard Spaceship will celebrate all Hallow’s Eve (October 31st) with the opening of Doktor A’s Spit and Polish custom-toy solo show. Dok won’t be able to make it to Santa Cruz, his thirteen (or so) custom toy minions– monsters and machines — will be there to greet and spook collectors and fans. With any luck, there will be a print or two as well. Hmm… road trip ?!? Until then, enjoy the composite teaser.
