Karan Koron (flier), an exhibition of customized Getas –traditional Japanese wooden sandals, opens this Thursday (6.14) from 7 to 11 PM @ Melt Gallery. Curated by Galo "MAKE" Canote, the show features Getas from a diverse group of over 60 artists including a large selection of Japanese artists as well as local illustrators and graffiti artists. We had the pleasure of dropping by during the installation to chat with Galo about the show and brought back a tasty preview for you all featuring Getas by Dave Kawano, Mari Inukai, MONSTER5, Relic, and Sergio Robleto.
