Bluebottle Art Gallery in Seattle, WA will play host to Wookin’ Pa Nub, a show featuring the works of Suzanne Kaufman and Karin Yamagiwa Madan. From the press release: They
have developed a series of highly stylized characters,
anthropomorphized animals and food particles with bizarre habits that
represent both the sweet and dark misfit in all of us. Paintings on
wood, canvas, and paper in two and three dimensions explore themes of
innocence, loss, love, kinship and alienation. The show will open on February 3, 2007 from 6-8 pm and will run through February 28th.
