Cut & Paste NYC Tourney (10.26.06)

The Cut & Paste NYC Tournament pitting 8 competitors against one another in head-to-head 15 minute digital design rounds goes down this Saturday October 21st from 8 to 11 PM at Brooklyn Sugar.  This year’s eight NYC competitors are

, Hector Ortiz, and Edward Ubiera.  Tickets to watch these eight duel it out are $15 at the door and $10 in advance.  After the tourney, head on over to the Supreme Trading Company for the afterparty (11 PM – 4 AM).  So buy some tickets, check out the unique design competition and then party into the wee hours.  Next stops for the tournament: Chicago (11.04), LA (11.11) and SF (11.18).

Beyond the main competition, each of the upcoming four tourneys (NYC, Chicago, LA and SF) will feature an Audience Design Competition.  Anyone in the audience can test their design chops by entering this competition using the Cut & Paste digital design stations on a 10-minute design project to express the superior qualities of their city.  Winners of the Audience Design Competition will be decided by online voting.
