The production of Tyson Summers’ Uni vinyl figure is moving along nicely. Uni, a penguin with serious ‘tude, is Tyson’s signature character and will be the first of a series of Big Art: Designer Vinyl. Currently, sculptor Mark Cornwell is making last minute tweaks and then will go ahead and make the master mold and cast. The first very limited edition should be released in a few weeks along with a special surprise bonus. The initial edition will be followed up with additional variants.
Tyson is a very talented artist and we’re excited that he’s putting Uni out there on his own. Uni’s a pretty unique character especially with that ?death ray? stalk of his. He creeps me out with that huge eye. Don’t worry about big brother, it’s Uni that’s watching your every more. I’m sure we’ll have more info on this crafty guy as we get closer to the initial release.
From what I can see from these pics, it looks like a great little piece to keep my eye on! can’t wait to see it with colour :D:D

The figure looks super nice.
But any phrase that describes an animal “with (serious) (Atti’tude” was the earmark of death for the numerous Sonic/Mario knockoffs back in the Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis days… please use sparingly
