The Gorillaz limited edition vinyl figures are due out May 24th from Kidrobot but are currently available via pre-order for $39.95 each or $149.95 for the whole set. The four figures designed by Jamie Hewlett based on the popular animated music band are limited to 2000 pieces each. The design of the four boxes stacked together spells out “Gorillaz” which would probably look really nice in a display case — maybe with the toys on top. And fear not die-hard collectors, there’s also going to be a very limited red variant edition of these figures dropping sometime this summer. I’ll admit that I’ve never heard of this band before, guess I’ve been living under a rock! However, the figures are quite cool and pretty large ranging from 7 inches to a whopping 13 inches tall. I’m especially fond of Noodles with her blissful appearance, sweet headphones, and oversized guitar. I suppose the pre-order means that these might sell out even before the 24th — so if you’re interested in these, go get ’em now!

Wow those look great do you know wish one is the Kid Koala one ?
I don’t believe Kid Koala has an animated counterpart in the band per se (did a little googling… could be wrong though).
