Rumble Monsters Vs. Mike Sutfin

 

With success of the custom Bop Dragons Mike Sutfin painted for the Skeletal Carnival 3 During SDCC, he and Rumble Monsters are working together to put out 2 very limited Bop Dragon production pieces. One version being painted and the other an unpainted lemonade colorway. Both of which are translucent and show off a tampo of an original illustration by Mike on both head and belly of the beast. Hello, Brute’s Jeffrey Release (11.20)

  

This Thursday Hello, Brute will be releasing an character in resin form, Jeffrey! Letter Pressed is in on this action as well, along with the purchase of this figure you receive a signed and numbered limited edition print of 50 of this wonderful new figure. Jeffrey is an edition of only 25 pieces, hand casted, hand painted, at a hefty 7 inches tall. Available through Hello, Brute’s Webstore on Thursday, November 20th @ 3:00 PM for only $75.00 (shipping not included). Jon Knox also hinted about how there may be a couple surprises in the shop as well, so keep your eyes open!

             

Mechanized & MAD Present Skin Deep (11.21.08)

It’s been a busy year for MAD, being involved with many shows and tons of Mad*L releases. Next weekend in Salt Lake City, MAD and Mechanized are working together for the newest release of Mad*L’s. Looking like a thug coming straight out from central L.A. the Skin Deep Mad*L will make its debut at Mechanized. Not only that but MAD himself will be there signing and doodling. He will also have up for display a few custom pieces and some 2D artwork to stimulate your minds. This takes place on Friday, November 21st from 7-10 PM at Mechanized. If your not lucky enough to be around for this release he gracious folks of Mechanized will also have some Skin Deep Mad*L’s on reserve for those who will be attending Vinyl Toy Network for both days. We Kill You – Four New Figures In October: Padihershef

Finally! It is the last week of the four figure release from We Kill You and this week he brings to you Padihershef. This new mummy character completes the set of four monsters of his special set. Available like the others, this Friday he will be up for grabs on WKY’s Sale Site. Also for grabs will be a special Halloween set of all four figures, and a special 5th figure as well. The following is some background knowledge on this new character.Spending his mortal days as a worker, Padihershef was killed at a young age after being crushed by falling stone. He sunk into the underworld, a dark and chaotic place, where he set forth on a journey to reunite with his soul and make it back to the day-lit world he once knew and loved. Finally, after his journey over land and sea, lasting 12 human lifetimes, he has made his way to our world.

We Kill You – Four New Figures In October: Gonakdet

It is week three of We Kill You’s October figure release. Which means the third figure from the set of three. WKY presents Gonakdet fish/lizard man with powers similar to Poseidon. Just like the other releases, he will up for grabs this coming Friday via WKY’s Webstore. That leaves only one more week til’ the last figure is revealed, and the special Halloween set becomes available.

The 411 on Gonakdet: Many years ago, G onakedet was a fisherman. In his fishing town, the stories of a lizard like sea creature that ate lost fishing boats, was a common tale. This creature was said to posses the power to control the sea. One day while out to sea alone in his boat, Gonakedet was attacked by this sea creature and in a fierce battle managed to take its life. Convinced that this creature possessed this great power to control the sea, he gutted it and wore its skin as an outfit. Over time, the skin of the creature and his flesh bonded leaving him stuck as the creature for ever.

We Kill You – Four New Figures in October: William Palerne

Here is week two We Kill You’s hand sculpted/casted resin figure October release.This week’s figure is William Palerne the human wolf, who will be available via WKY’s web shop. This means only two figures left in the next couple of weeks. Where a special Halloween set of all four figures will be released. More pictures of William Palerne after the jump.

Here we also have a little background information on week twos figure. William was a farmer, born and raised. On his 20th birthday tending to his fathers sheep, William was attacked by a wolf covering him in bites and scratches. When he awoke the next morning and looked in the mirror, he was shocked to discover that he was now part wolf. He ran away from his home to the city where he met Ghost Boy and together they helped rid the streets of the evil that lived there.

September 27th Gargamel Releases

 

What a co-inkee-dink, same day of the Super7 art show at Thrash Out we have some new releases from Gargamel. Débuting will be the first ever Super 7 zombie set as apart of the D.A.R.K army created by Dr. Killgore. You can read more about the story about these guys at Snakes Of Infinity. Of the zombies to be released is Hood designed by Brian Flynn, Imp designed by Koji Harmon, Ooze Bat designed by Chan-Man, and Zag designed by Kiyoka Ikeda. That leaves four release four of the D.A.R.K soldiers to be announced and release. The cool thing I find interesting about these guys is that it comes with one body and four heads. Also to be released is a new Tokoji Seikin by Koji. We are also looking at a few of the fan favorites such as the Zag Plane, Deathra, Standing Hedoran, and the new Mummy Boy. Hello, Brute Jake Release (08.16.08)

This Saturday Jon Knox aka Hello, Brute will be releasing his new Jake resin figure. Available will be a Blue or Black version of this hand-casted in polyurethane resin and hand-painted 6.5 inch bundle of joy. Limited to only 10 pieces of each color, signed and numbered, bagged and comes along with a header card. Jake will be available through Hello, Brute’s online store for $65 (plus shipping) on August 16th @ 3 PM west coast time.

This Saturday (8.16) Fresh Manila will have a huge event for the releases of their exclusive Mad*L, Benny And Red Bird, and Scavenger Exclusive. Entertainment provided by the Fresh boys with beer and street food.

Seems as if their is a new Mad*L coming out every month, but this one is especially special. Featuring the Filipino Flag as the design for the exclusive Mad*L designed and produced by MAD and Solid Industries, and inspired by the custom created by Kris Butiong (hey that’s me!) they bring together a lot of pride into 5”of vinyl.

It ain’t silver, but its Platinum! From Mindstyle and Kathie Olivas Fresh brings you their Platinum Benny And Red Bird exclusive. Decked out from top to bottom in a shiny platinum colored coat of paint. Limited to 50 pieces priced at 6,500 PHP ($145 US) this will be the most limited of the Benny series. Not enough KO for you? Fresh will also have an exclusive platinum scavenger. Audrey is her name and is only limited to 100 pieces and priced at 600 PHP ($14 US).

*Update* Petit Lapin X Marie Paysant-leroux

 

Previously here on Vinyl Pulse we covered the collaboration between Mr. Clement and Marie Paysant-leroux on the next Petit Lapin figure. After a short wait he is now available through Mr. Clement’s shop here. Each comes with a different scarf made by Marie, it comes with a 14 page pencil drawing comic as well as an envelope accessory. Limited to only 100 pieces which means 100 different scarves at £20 each (roughly $40 US) this little mustached guy will be gone in no time.
