kaNO x PON Print

KaNO collaborated with PON on a print featuring his signature pigeons for NYCC.  Measuring 9" x 12" on watercolor paper, this one is limited to 20  signed and numbered pieces available for $25 each. PON's working hard and will have his first figure in the upcoming Fatcap 2 series from Kidrobot.

Jack Long Giclee @ A Paper Tiger

The recently opened  A Paper Tiger offers prints from rising artists with a focus on the LA area.  They've just started releasing prints on a weekly  basis -- the first of which is  They Returned Every Year to Watch it Grow  by Jack Long.  The print measures 12 x 14", is limited to just 25 pieces, and is available for $100.  Jack's art stands out for both the subject matter -- organic houses and buildings, and his fairly subtle rendering which blends the unexpected with the expected.

Jesse Hernandez x Marka27 Exclusive Collabo Print

For the upcoming release of Marka27's MG-2 Mexico figure and art show, Jesse Hernandez has crossed with him on this ill exclusive print done in a gritty almost monotone color scheme.  No word on exact print run but expect it to be small.  This piece will be available at the opening which goes down on Thursday, April 3rd 2008 (7-11 PM).

Marka27 - MunkyKing Minigod Exclusive Print

Marka27 is hard at work creating visual goodness for the April 3rd release of his MG2 Mexico figure at Munky King Melrose.  For his show exclusive print, the minigods have gone to the monkeys.   The Munkyking Minigod giclee measures 13" x 19" and will be available at the opening. Nathan Jurevicius - Monkey King Giclee

Munky King will release Nathan Jurevicius's  Monkey King giclee print on Monday, March 3rd, 2008.  If you're scratching your head thinking it looks awfully familliar -- this  print was first announced just prior to SDCC but fell victim to the evil Customs demons.  It features one serious purple bad guy and the mischeivous Monkey King -- soon to be a new vinyl figure from Munky King. Four New Prints from Jermaine Rogers (2.1.08)

Luke Chueh Print @ The Nature of Water (1.5.08)

For The Nature of Water, an art exhibition inspired by the philosophies of Bruce Lee, Luke Chueh shows us it's not the equipment with It Takes More Than A Jumpsuit (and Nunchukas).  This bruised and battered painting will  be available as a giclee print (50 pieces only) at the show.   The Nature of Water opens on January 5th, 2008 from 7 to 11 PM at Nucleus.

Attaboy - 'Plugged' In Print

Huck Gee - Raku Prints (9.7.07)

Huck Gee will release two new "Raku" prints -- Good Morning and Good Evening on Friday, September 7th, 2007 @ Noon PDT through his eBay store.  The prints compliment each other well and are designed to be shown side by side.  Fittingly, the raku (raccoons) match their setting  with the stealthy Ninja raku lurking in the night and the explorer basking in a glorious sunrise.   Each design is limited to 60 signed and numbered prints.  The 13 x 19" giclees are printed on archival watercolor paper and embossed with 22k gold.   Where Huck goes customs must be lurking around the corner... Sket One - Night & Day: Print Sneaks

Huck Gee - 'The Geisha' Print @ Noon (6.27.07)

Huck Gee will release 'The Geisha' print  today, June 27th @ Noon Pacific Time through his online store for $50 per print.  Limited to 50  signed and numbered pieces, this giclee print measures 12.75" x 16.5" (1/2" margins) on archival watercolor paper.  Starting with a stoic shogun braving an epic wave and a clan of ninjas flying through a moonlight sky, Huck closes this series of three prints   with a peaceful geisha strolling across a moon bridge in the snowy embrace of winter.

Sam Fout - Mos Eisley Wiseguys Interpretative Print

Sam Fout, creator of Project: Neptoon, has started a series of prints which reimagine the Star Wars universe.  First up is  Mos Eisely Wiseguys, his version of the famous cantina scene, from Lucasfilm and Acme Archives which was released at Star Wars Celebration IV (continues through today).  The print will also be available directly from Acme Archives shortly. 

Chris Lee's Newest Temptations

Chris Lee has alot on tap for fans and collectors.  In addition, to Mellow from Wheaty Wheat Studios, Chris has recently released four new prints + a sweet shirt.  His flirtations with a new more painterly style can be seen in his new mini-series of three 13 x 9.5" prints.  These feature hand-painted backgrounds, Illustrator work, and some Photoshop flavor. Printed on Hahnemuhle Torchon (285 gsm) with an image area of 11 x 7.5", each print is limited to 100 pieces and is available for a very reasonable $20. These new more organic pieces add an extra helping of warmth and charm to Chris's repertoire of excellent characters.  This One is Mine stands out as our highlight of this series.

Chris has also released The Birdman From Gargantua measuring in with an 10 x 16" image on a 13x19" print on Hahnemuhle Torchon (285 gsm).  This one is limited to just 50 pieces and sells for $40.  Finally, for those that would prefer to wear Chris's art, check out The Ghost Crest available on American Apparel Fine Jersey T-shirt (mens and womens) for $20.

Print Preview - Attaboy Signing (4.7.07)

VP has received previews of Attaboy Giclee and Silkscreened Prints that will be available at Attaboy's signing at Pink Ghost on Las Olas in Ft. Lauderdale this Saturday evening, April 7 at 8 PM.  There will also be many other items from Attaboy available - Fuzzy Axtrxs, Welsh Rarebits, new prints, postcard books, Hi Fructose/ Brian McCarty Viewmaster reels for attendees, Hi-Fructose magazines, scheme books and skate decks.  In addition to being an artist, Attaboy is  a co-founder of Hi Fructose magazine (which this month features a great Ray Caesar image on the cover).  Pretty much if you ever wanted anything Attaboy, Saturday night in Ft.
