Marsham Toy Hour: Episode 44 - Old School Edition
Marsham Toy Hour graces our ears with a brand new episode, which features special guests Ryan Rutherford and Chris Ryniak. In this episode, they basically sound like old toy geezers talking about the olden days of designer toys. A lot of the toys they had brought up had me search through eBay to see what was available on the secondary market, because just like them, they were some of the forgotten heroes of the toy era. Them mentioning these toys brought up a lot of regret of not picking them up in the past, which has now lead me to add to my list of followed searches on the evil bay. You can find their latest episode HERE or on YouTube HERE.

The Collection #4: Jason Freeny
Huck Gee and Mark Brickley’s art toy podcast, The Collection, is picking up steam as it hits episode 4 with guest Jason Freeny who talks about the development of his signature dissected style and all that entails –from the upside of a unique, recognizable style to the creative cost. While his work has been popular for quite some time, Freeny’s Collection appearance is right on time—his art toys are red hot with numerous high-profile crossover projects including the XXRAY series featuring DC Superheroes from Mighty Jaxx and the upcoming Bugs Bunny figure with Kidrobot. Definitely give it a listen. And for those looking for the inside perspective – there’s an extra shop talk segment with Freeny, exclusive to Circle of Trust members ($9.99/mo).
