Buff Monster – Web Exclusive Plush (7.28)

Fresh off of the SDCC debut of his new plush figures, Buff Monster will release his light-pink cyclopian Web Exclusive plush (ed. of 200, $20) on Wednesday, July 28th @ 10 AM PDT from his web shop.  The pink one’s new plush figures are quite nice.  Larger than its vinyl predecessors, the plush has a good presence straddling the line between small and medium size.  From the ‘feet’ to the round bulbous body, the plush is a nice soft, squishy translation of Buff’s character.

In addition to the new exclusive plush, Buff Monster is dropping his collaborative ‘Eye of the Serpent’ print created with Brian Ewing. This is a re-working of the Faith No More Print ($75).  Finally, Buff’s new clear playing cards round out the drop trio ($20).

Camilla d’Errico – Giant Buddha Kuro

SDCC is big, big show and big releases.  For the mother of all ‘cons, Camilla d’Errico is releasing her Giant Buddha Kuro plush. Standing 2 feet tall, this super sized plush is limited to 100 pcs and will be available for $125.  The Giant Buddha Kuro is now available for pre-order through Camilla’s site with pickup at SDCC. Alisa Ross x Scribe @ SDCC

Scribe just posted up this fantastic collaboration custom between him and his talented plush artist wife, Alisa Ross. They present to you a custom Snorse figure, mounted by it’s rider, Adam. No idea why Adam is nude, so we’ll leave that story up to you. This custom can be found at the Cardboard Spaceship booth (#4534) during SDCC. More pictures after the jump.

Alisa Ross – SDCC Exclusive Plush

Found on Alisa Ross’ facebook were a few of the plush pieces she plans on bringing with her to SDCC 2010. She is a very talented plush artist and it definitely shows in these pieces that can be found at the Cardboard Spaceship booth (#4534). Shawnimals: Ninja of the Month – Mountain Ninja (7.7)

Shawnimals is about to release July’s NOTM, Mountain Ninja.  While the official story is that he’s a hardy Mountaineer who challenges himself on Mt. Feroshi, if you ask us he looks an awful lot like Saint Nick, though he does have that climbing gear. Ikem and Izziel, The Conjoined Monster Twins from Monster Workshop

Monster Workshop have been some busy bee’s with their adoption rate at an all time high. They now introduce us to Ikem and Izzel, conjoined monster twins who make double the fun.

Ikem and Izziel were first spotted rummaging through boxes behind a high street shoe shop. Joined at the hip, it was thought that rounding up the pair would be a synch, but it took over a week of trying to make the capture. They were only snared when one of the shop workers used chocolate buttons to bait a humane trap.

Initially it was thought that their bizarre condition would leave them at a disadvantage, in fact the reverse seems to be true. Although they sometimes clash, they always look out for one another.

Shawnimals – C2E2 Exclusive Chicago Dog Plush

Chicagoans love their dogs, and not just any dogs but “Chicago dogs” loaded a very specific way – mustard, onions, relish, sport peppers, tomatos, a pickle, and a hot dog,  all in a poppy seed bun.  So when it came time to create an exclusive plush for the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2, April 16th – 18th), Shawnimals went with one of the city’s favorite food passions.  Limited to 100 pieces, the 6” Chicago Dog plush will be available at Shawnimal’s booth for $25 per delicious (for your eyes) link. 

Roughly a third of the stock will be reserved for each day of the ‘con (4.16 – 4.18) – so need to crash the booth on the 16th.   Any remaining stock after the last day of the show will be sold online at a later date.

Amanda Visell – Jackalope Plush Sneak

More Amanda Visell x Kidrobot to start your week.  As he does frequently, Paul Budnitz has posted a sneak of a new Amanda Visell plush that we’ll go out on a limb (well… not really, we’re cautious.) and say is a Jackalope plush.  The large/loose texture looks nice as opposed to the fine texture of most designer plush.
