Jermaine Rogers will once again be making his way to DesignerCon with a slew of toys and prints in tow. On the toy side, Jermaine has posted some tempting teases of the drops including what we’re pretty sure is the Candy Veil: East, a brand-new Astral BELIEVE resin, and one beautiful Veil: Specimen #72 which appears to be the Iridescence hand-painted micro run. The caption for the hand-painted Veil pic also mentioned Shadow, which we believe is a reference to the production Shadow Veil: Specimen #72. Only fitting that Jermaine leads us on a bit of a deciphering.

Buff Monster [booth #907] will be showing at DesignerCon for the first time this year and he’s been working overtime on a full slate of new releases including two brand-new figures and fun one-off editions of his signature Mister Melty character. First up, there’s the brand-new Devil Ball which is drawn from Buff’s recent Bristol mural. Three-hundred-sixty degrees of eyes, sharp teeth and horns symbolize the ‘evil men do, with no beginning and no end’. Digitally sculpted by Shinbone Creative and cast in resin by Buff Monster, Devil Ball will debut in a flat-finish Bubblegum edition. Speaking of evil, there’s also a brand-new Devil version of Mister Melty, debuting in a 3” DCon exclusive with clear lime green resin and a mix of splatters and sprays.
Mister Melty fans will have a tough task choosing between the legion of custom 3” (OG / 2-Faced) and 5” (OG/Zombie) that will be available at DesignerCon. On the 3” side, handful of of OG figures are mixed-color sofubi while the Zombies are sofubi + resin hybrids. The 5” rotocast resin one-offs are test casts with assorted spray paint and acrylic deco. For your wall, Buff Monster has two new editions of the Eye Heart NY 2-color Risograph print (embossed, stamped, numbered edition of 100). The booth will also be stocked with a selection of Stay Melty merch including pins, patches and more.

3DRetro @ DesignerCon: Gary Baseman Minis and Anesthesia Bust by Doktor A
3DRetro is going deep this year with a seemingly ever-expanding DesignerCon lineup. Today’s news includes two of their brand-new productions. From the mind and hands of Doktor A comes the new Anesthesia bust. Will the mysterious, veiled steam punk beauty take away your pain? The debut white edition (50 pcs, $100) will be available at the show from 3DRetro and Dok A will be happy to sign ‘em at his booth [#114]. To celebrate the mysterious one’s debut, each buyer will receive a free bonus pin with which to spread Anesthesia’s tale.
From big to mini, 3DRetro’s new Gary Baseman Keshi Minis shrink the magic of a pair of the artist’s signature characters into a cubicle-friendly form. These will be sold in blind-bags featuring a Toby and a Hot Cha Cha Cha in random colors. At $4 a bag these are definitely must-haves and would make great stocking stuffers.
