In conjunction with an American DJ, Mindzai has designed and produced DJ Trakkz the first figure in the new T.T. Topperz line. Designed to ride atop a turntable, Skull DJ comes with a proprietary base that attaches to most modern record player spindles without affecting playback. Apparently the first ever turntable toy, the concept seems like a fun spin on designer toys with crossover appeal. Props to the creators for a new take on vinyl (pun intended).
Featuring articulated arms, DJ Trakkz is currently available from TTTopperz.com and Mindzai for US$20. He’ll also be available from additional select retailers shortly.
