Following the first two editions of Aya Kakeda’s Microbus sofubi set, Tomenosuke has announced the first painted and most whimsical edition so far — ‘To the Candy Kaiyju Planet’. Living up to that evocative name, this third colorway features a mystical design with metallic silver spray faces and generous applications of orange, purple, yewllo and what appears to be blue spray on milky white vinyl.
Candy Kaijyu Planet will be released in early February and is the third and final piece of the special promo in which which one lucky customer who purchases all three of the initial Microbus editions, including the previous ‘To the Mystic Mushroom Forest’ and ‘To The Yeti Mountain’, will win the original header card art by Aya Kakeda.
