Sergey Safonov has collaborated with Montezuma’s Revenge (soundcloud), a metal band of fellow Russians, on an intriguing monolithic sculptural release featuring a musical interpretation of his mysterious Govra character/figure. The Govra EP features the band’s original Govra track plus four remixes. Blending his design talents into the project, Safonov created the GovraPod, an enigmatic sculpture housing a flash drive featuring the Govra EP, remix ready source files, photos, and a digital poster.
