BlackBook Toy is following up the release of the two debut editions of Jeff Soto’s NekoFukurou with the new Thunderstorm edition. In contrast with the wild blue and pink palettes of the previous editions, Thunderstorm features a ‘natural’ design with a tan, brown, and grey color scheme. In case you’re unfamiliar with this new sofubi, the clever NekoFukurou design features two-faces (cat/owl) and in a fun twist, supports stacking of multiple figures.
NekoFukurou Thunderstorm will be offered as a timed release. Orders will be accepted at BlackBook Toy’s siteBlackBook Toy’s site between 9.12 at Midnight Japan Time (8 AM PDT on 9.11) through September 30th at 11:59 PM Japan Time (7:59 AM PDT on 9.30) for 8100 yen per figure (~$76). The edition size will be determined by the number of orders received.
