On Saturday (6.21, 12 – 3 PM) Buff Monster will be hosting a special event at Melty Manor, his new studio on the Lower East Side, featuring an Archive Sale and three new drops. There will also be an online release later that day (6 PM EDT) of most of the items available at the event.
If you missed a long sold-out Buff Monster release or two, the RSVP event is your chance to pick it up straight out of the artist’s personal archive. So if you have a few holes in your collection, drop Buff an email at info@buffmonster.com for the Melty Manor location.
The new releases include the debut of Buff’s Jumbo Cheap Toys. This first drop features larger (2.5”) versions of Double Heather, Alice Island, and Graffiti Petey in clear w/pink swirl editions ($30 each). There’s also a new Flash print which collects a series of recent ink drawings onto one 18 x 24” s/n print (ed of 100, $50). If you’ve been looking for Buff Monster tattoo flash, this is a pretty good choice. There’s also an event exclusive new mystery resin release – drop by the event to check it out. Finally, if you haven’t yet had a chance to try your luck with the Buff Monster Toy Machine, you’ll be happy to know that one is installed in the studio waiting for you.
If you can’t make the Melty Manor event, no worries. Buff Monster will release the Jumbo Cheap Toys, Flash print, and any remaining items from the Archive Sale at 6 PM EDT over at Buffmonster.com.
