Preview: Michael Lau -- ‘remember - disc’, time – table (5.15)

A few weeks ago we mentioned HK toy pioneer Michael Lau’s upcoming ‘remember – disc’, time – table art show timed to coincide with Art Basel HK.   Collected from instagram, here’s a look at several of the circular (disc) paintings and drawings which are based on quotes that resonate with the artist.  Some of the pieces are immediately recognizable from the appearance of his characters while others are a bit more subtle with visuals tailored to the associated quote.
