Munky King x Yoskay Yamamoto – Screaming for the Sunrise DIY
Munky King has released Yoskay Yamamoto’s Screaming for the Sunrise vinyl in a new DIY edition (6”, $50). We’ve always enjoyed Screaming for the Sunrise and felt that it never quite got its due. Here’s hoping talented customizers reintroduce folks to the figure. That said, the sculpt seems like a challenging one to hand paint – though we can imagaine some awesome airbrushed pieces. Pick one up now for $50 (+s/h) at Munky King.
Tomenosuke x Double Parlor -- Rowm
Over the past few months, Japan’s Tomenosuke has released several sweet resin figures (including Goro) from Double Parlour as part of their bimonthly exclusives program. April’s release is Rowm, a proud, shirtless, tentacled character. He may have unusually rough skin, but his heart’s in the right place (we think). Through their strong design, beautiful sculpting and painting, Double Parlour has turned resin into an appealing yet quirky character, full of personality and life in a way that only they can achieve. Limited to 5 pieces, the 8” Rowm is available exclusively from Tomenosuke for 17820 yen (~ $175).
