Francesco de Molfetta x FLABSLAB – Histary
in collaboration with Francesco de Molfetta, FLABSLAB is bringing you another lovely homage to the Star Wars franchise, presenting Histary. As you can see, Darth Vader’s helmet rests upon the body of an Egyptian Sphinx. We would like to think this was discovered in the sands of Tatooine, where Vader was once worshipped. The Histary is available now HERE for $380 each. This figure measures 7.8” x 10.8” x 5”.

Acolorfulmonster x Kenth Toy Works – Zombitron Kickstarter
John of Acolorfulmonster and Kenth of Kenth Toy Works have collaborated on a brand-new sofubi figure called Zombitron. The collaboration began with John’s original sketch. Kenth then created his own monster concept following John’s basic shape and then merged the two into one by sculpting acolorfulmonster’s design on one side and his one the other. I don’t think I’ve seen this done before, at the very least it’s a pretty unusual approach.
In order to make this collaboration a reality, they’ve started a Zombitron Kickstarter campaign with a modest goal of $3000 to produce the 6” figure with an impressive six points of articulation. Rewards include a blank white sofubi ($45), an exclusive Kenth Toy Works edition ($65), an exclusive Acolorfulmonster edition ($65) and more. The campaign ends on March 2nd, 2014.
