LiLJAPAN – Hikari-Kun Work-In-Progress
Hiro Hayashi (LiLJAPAN) is working on a brand-new resin figure, Hikari-Kun, with an eye towards releasing it for DesignerCon. Hiro’s currently refining the sculpt of his lantern yokai creation and will then focus on casting the 5” figure in resin. Recently Hiro’s been casting resin professionally for various artists including Frank Kozik, so it’s nice to see him putting those skills to use on a personal project as well. To keep up with the progress on Hikari-Kun, keep an eye on Hiro’s Facebook, instagram and twitter.
Hikari-Kun is a japanese lantern yokai. He has traveled all the way from Japan to look for a new environment that does not use electricity. Because of electricity he has been pretty much forgotten. With no use of a lantern he ventures off all over the world to find the one place he can light up with his flames and make friends. He hopes that he can meet many new friends that will accept him, but you know, who isnt scared of yokai's. Its going to be a long adventure.
