Preview of Bad Juju’s Spring Collection
Bad Juju recently posted their Spring 2013 Lookbook showcasing the brand through a look at their various art installations and murals as well as their upcoming collection of apparel, decks and toys – many of which are fueled by Sket One’s art. First debuted as a resin figure at last year’s DesignerCon, brand mascot Dripple will be featured on numerous Tees and decks. The collection will be available shortly from Badjuju.com – we’ll be sure to let you know when the store goes live.
Preview: Lamour Supreme & Buff Monster -- 'Number of the Beast' (4.12)
Here's a look at Buff Monster and Lamour Supreme's 'Number of the Beast' which opens tonight (4.12) at the Cotton Candy Machine in Brookyln. The artists have collaborated on a series of paintings and pieces featuring their characters going toe to toe. The paintings will also be featured in a special 'Metal Misfits' sticker trading card series, a subset of sorts of Buff's Melty Misfits series, debuting at the opening. Each pack will feature a full set of the regular eight cards and a chance to find the elusive 9th chase card. There's also a sweet black and white screen print (above).
As you might expect, there will be toys as well including Buff Monster's resin Ice Cream Heads. Expect to see several customs -- both Buff and Lamour have created two custom Baby Hell finger puppets and Buff will also be offering a custom Destroyer. Perhaps more from Lamour as well.
If you're in or around NYC, head on over to CCM tonight (4.12) from 7 to 11 PM.

Daniel Yu x Mighty Jaxx -- Oi! Cthulhu
Mighty Jaxx recently released Daniel Yu's Oi! Cthulhu resin figure. The 6" figure reimagines H.P. Lovecraft's beast as an Earth dwelling diety. Decked out in a leather jacket, jeans and boots, this is Cthulhu for a new generation. Oi! Cthulhu comes with magnetized wings and two interchangeable hands -- hand of benediction and the sign of the horns, and pre-orders are available now for $70 from Mighty Jaxx. From the sounds of it, this is the first in a series of figures, curious to see what's next.
