Frank Mysterio’s Ramakien Paw

 

Ran across this fierce Ramakien Paw by Frank Mysterio during my news run and immediately thought ‘must post’.  Based on a Thai version of  Hindu mythology, the impressive piece brings a new dimension to the toy while flowing nicely with the sculpt.  I’ve always enjoyed pieces with all-over patterns and this one gets extra points for the subtle use of accent colors on the predominantly mono design.
