Ron English – “Half Dollar” Mini Billboard (10.24)
Making it from Award Winning wallet design for Dynomighty, Ron English’s “Half Dollar Bill” makes it as the newest Mini Billboard release. Standing 9.5” tall, this edition of 30 pieces will be available tomorrow on Wednesday, October 24th at 12PM PST HERE for $150. Each mini billboard will also come signed and numbered by the man himself!
Coarse Toys – Oop Prey (10.24)
Mark Landwehr and the crew at Coarse is about to launch their newest vinyl creations, Oop Prey. The 2-pack features new editions of the nascent Oop and Aw! as viewed by predators waiting for the hapless two to emerge from their protective surroundings. Whether intentional or merely coincidence, the 2-pack’s theme of hunted prey visualized through skeletal designs meshes nicely with the coming of All Hallow’s Eve. The boldly stylish red, white, and black character designs compliment and transform the minimalist sculpts. While the mirror-tastic oopCr was impressive, Prey is our favorite oop edition so far with the strong character designs and super-tight deco.
Oop Prey delivers the two 7” matte finish vinyl figures nestled in black sponge within a hand-crafted, silk-screen printed paper closure sealed with a photo-printed sleeve. Limited to 300 sets, Oop Prey drops on Wednesday October 24th for HK$ 1560 (~ $201) @ 8:59 AM PDT from coarsehkg.
Podgy Panda x Cris Rose – Monkey Podgonauts Edition A (10.26)
Podgy Panda is out yet again to release another series of his Podgonauts! Working alongside Cris Rose, this new series of Monkey Podgonauts will be releasing this weekend! Limited to 3 pieces, the Edition A (Jumpsuit Edition) will be dropping this Friday, October 26th at 6PM GMT +1 HERE for $120. Each resin figure stands approximately 3.5” tall and come with a laser engraved Monkey disc embedded on the chest.

Vinyles Chiles Presents: Dunny Dia De Muertos (11.02)
Vinyles Chiles is proud to present “Dunny Dia De Muertos”, a custom Dunny Show following the theme of the Day of the Dead on 3”, 8” and even a 20” Dunnys from more than 14 artists. The pieces on exhibit are also from a private collector and the curator of the show, Mario Moreno. You can expect to see pieces from Avatar666, Akriel, Dr. Befa, Curiot, Yoste, Jump Jumper Ant, Roach Drunk, Blitz, Zhon DSR, Marka27, Frank Mysterio, Tadeo Mendoza, Arturo Ramirez. and more. There will also be a live 20” Dunny customizing session going on with Dr. Befa and Yoste. The show will take place on Saturday, November 5th at 5PM.

1AM Gallery Presents: “Kozik” (11.02)
1AM Gallery in San Francisco is putting together a show based on one of the legends of the Designer Toy world! Curated by James Brown of 1AM, “Kozik” will feature a number of artists paying homage to the man behind the Labbit, Anarchy Sign, Cigarettes, and band poster art. On exhibit will also be new and original posters by none other than Kozik himself.
Artists include: Frank Kozik, Jermaine Rogers, The Print Mafia. Scrojo, Artmymind, Run DMB, Tim Munz, Grimsheep, JC Rivera, Gomi, Luihz Unreal, Kevin Gosselin, Igor Ventura, Map-Map, Ardabus Rubber, Lick Your Elbow, Chauskoski, Sergio Mancini, and more.
The show will take place on Saturday, November 2nd from 6:30-9:30PM and will be on view through Saturday, December 1st.

GeeKai x Blackgard – Gumbo in Gromblyland (10.26)
Grace Kim (GeeKai) and Blackgard have mixed their artistic and technical skills together and the result is the fun and wacky Gumbo in Gromblyland resin figure. So who is Gumbo? Why he’s the mascot for the Gummy-O’s children cereal from Gromby Foods Co. With his bushy eye brows, portly body, and slightly sneering expression, the 4” Gumbo is pretty cool in our book. Gumbo will be released in two editions of ten, Orange Creamsicle and Avacado Dreamsicle, as well as a few one-off customs. The drop is this Friday, October 26th @ 9 PM EDT (6 PM PDT) through Blackgard’s online store with the editioned pieces going for $30 (+ s/h) and the customs selling at $40 (+ s/h).
Flat Bonnie’s DesignerCon Exclusive 18” YetiBun Plush
Yukari of Flat Bonnie will be at DesignerCon with an exclusive hand-made 18” YetiBun plush (edition of 10, $35). The exclusive edition will feature a sewn-in Flat Bonnie/DesignerCon tag as well as a signed/numbered hang tang. YetiBun should have broad appeal. It’s cute without being overly so with just a bit of quirkiness in the mix thanks to it’s Yeti DNA.
As with Flat Bonnie’s other plush offerings, a portion of proceeds from YetiBun sales will be donated to bunny and animal rescues to increase awareness of the need to adopt rabbits and other animals. Limited to ten pieces, the exclusive YetiBun will be available in booth 530 @ DesignerCon (11.3) for $35 each.

Toy Art Gallery will present ‘Vivid Lucid Dream’ on Saturday (10.27) featuring new sofubi including hand-painted one offs from Lash (Mutant Vinyl Hardcore) and Japanese artists Frenzy Brothers and Siccaluna. Tristan Eaton 20” Gold King Dunny Signing @ KRLA (10.25)
Tristan Eaton will be at KRLA on Thursday for a just announced signing of his new 20” Gold King Dunny. The last of the Kidrobot X releases, the 20” Gold King is limited to 300 pieces and will retail for $40 $400 (ahem, that’s better) from Kidrobot and select retailers. Scott Wilkowski x DKE – Of All Ages II @ DesignerCon (11.3)
For DesignerCon, mad genius Scott Wilkowski has teamed up with DKE on Of All Ages II, a follow-on to the red hot show at this year’s SDCC. This second round features Scott’s infestation of Ron English’s Mouse Mask Murphy complete with the ZacPac plane in either red or black (25 red/25 black, $250). And finally, your prayers (or is that pleas?) have been anwered – Scott will release the naked Labbit skeletons (atop a circular base) from this Summer’s full resin pieces for $50 each (50 pieces). The Mouse Mask Murphys will go on sale @ 11 AM while the Labbit Skeletons will drop at 2 PM, both at the DKE booth #124. Between the Super Suck Up and Of All Ages II, plus some choice exclusives DKE will be busier than ever for DesignerCon.
