Lunartik Mini S2 Full Lineup Revealed + BIY Edition

Matt Jones’ new Lunartik in a Cup of Tea Mini Series 2  figures (2.5”, $10) are  now available for pre-order from Lunartik.com and will soon be available from your favorite toy spot.  The series features 17 new designs – 12 standard teas, 4 special brews and one super rare collectors tea.  As with S1, there’s a special signed collectors edition – Cherry Green Tea (edition of 200) that can be redeemed by sending in a collectors called filled with 19 tea tokens (one per purchased tea). 

With the new series comes a fresh, stylish packaging approach  featuring cute ‘take-away’ cups with clear lids that double as figure stands of sort and an innovative and  elegant tray with 16 blind-assorted cups in lieu of the standard boxed ‘case’.    We’ve had a chance to play with the new figures and came away impressed, especially with the new themed packaging. 

Finally, Lunartik also announced one last bit of Tea Action – the Lunartik ‘Loose Tea’: B.I.Y. edition ($10) as in Brew it  Yourself, perfect for making your very own custom tea. The DIY edition comes unassembled, ready to customize in a blister pack.
