myplasticheart's NYCC Exclusive Ryniak Misfortune Cat Ivory Edition
myplasticheart continues its daily NYCC announcements. Today they've announced their exclusive Ivory Edition of the 5" Chris Ryniak Misfortune Cat from Playge. Limited to 100 pieces, the new edition features Ryniak's severed head design with a fairly realistic faux ivory finish with a startling single, cloudy blue eye. This is the follow-up to the '11 SDCC black debut. The Ivory Ryniak Misfortune Cat will be available at the mph booth (#3313) for an as yet undisclosed price. Chris Ryniak will be on-hand signing at the booth on Friday (10.12) @ 4 PM.

The Loyals Subjects x Hasbro – Transformers Tees (9.25)
After some choice previews and teaser images, The Loyal Subjects is about to drop the first products from their Hasbro-licensed Transformers project – Series 1 of their Transformer Tees. The new collection features ten designs (across several colors) including eight character outline designs and two logo tees, created by Les Schettkoe. The character tees feature 4 Autobots ( Bumble Bee, Optimus Prime, Jazz and Grimlock) and 4 Decepticons (Megatron, Thundercracker, Soundwave, and Starscream). Based on Gen1 Transformers, these character designs appear to be previews of the upcoming Transformers Blindbox mini-figure series which is due in early December. The 100% ringspun cotton tees (S – 2XL) will be available on Tuesday, September 25th from theloyalsubjects.com, Newbury Comics, and select retailers for $25 each.
Andrew Bell -- Android S3 Pre-Orders
After a lengthy (and painful) wait, it looks like Andrew Bell’s Android S3 minis are about to find their ways to collectors’ shelves. While the boxes show 14 designs, there are apparently 15 designs in this series. Several retailers are now taking pre-orders with an estimated ship date of 9.26 including myplasticheart and rotofugi. The Blind boxes are 7.95 while the case has a suggested retail of ~ $127.
S3 features fourteen designs from Google, Andrew Bell, Gary Ham, Huck Gee, KaNO, MAD, KRONK, Kelly Denato, Scott Tolleson and Sket One. As you know, Andrew Bell has been gradually previewing the S3 designs – most recently showing MAD’s Cry-On Design and Huck Gee’s Professor Skully McRivethead. In addition, Gary Ham’s owl design was part of the SDCC preview release and Andrew Bell’s second design is shown above (just left of KaNO’ design in the top row). As you might hope for, MAD’s design features an integrated rattle for that tell-tale spraycan sound. Also, one collector (F@ndr0id) has shared photos of what appears to be a full-set on the KR forums – revealing both Scott Tolleson designs and the previously unshown Kronk design. With this newest ‘evidence’, we’ve come to the conclusion that S3 does indeed feature 15 designs rather than the 14 suggested on the official packaging. Android S3 looks great and should prove to be quite popular. Hit the jump for the spoiler images.
Crappy Cat’s Meme 6 Pack Sack! (09.24)
If you’re like me, you spend way too much time on Reddit, Tumblr, and 9gag looking at cat pictures and memes. Most notably would be the rage comic memes, which in just one storyboard, emotes all feelings I have in a number of similar situations. It looks as though Crappy Cat, is a big fan too, as he incorporates the Rage Comic memes to his FlunkMonkey figure. The Six Pack Meme Tribute features FlunkMonkey Solo, Fuuug!, Loool!, Probz?, Jeah!, and Jeez!. These will be available only through CrappyCat.com and is an edition of 125 sets. The release will take place on Monday, September 24th at 2PM EST through Wednesday, September 26th at 2PM EST.
myplasticheart x Brutherford Industries -- NYCC Exclusive Ice Scream Man Minis
For NYCC, myplasticheart will release not one, not two, but a trio of exclusive Ice Scream Man minis from Brutherford Industries. The asian inspired flavors include Red Bean, Green Tea and Black Sesame. Limited to 50 of each, these will be available as a set or individually ($52) @ the mph booth (#3313). Brutherford will be signing on Friday (10.12) @ Noon.

myplasticheart x Dok A -- Chester Runcorn Gin & Tonic NYCC Pre-Release
myplasticheart is loaded for bear for NYCC. They've just started to reveal their releases including a pre-release of Doktor A's Gin and Tonic Chester Runcorn from Kuso Vinyl. The almost mono edition will be available at mph's booth (#3313) for $64.99. Dok A will signing on Saturday (10.13) @ 4 PM. This just might be my favorite edition of this toy yet.

L’amour Supreme x myplasticheart – Baby Huey “Hell” Edition (09.22)
We jumped the gun a bit when we announced that myplasticheart was doing a Baby Huey release with L’amour Supreme for NYCC. This release will happen a bit earlier, as in 3 days from now early. Releasing this Saturday, September 22nd at 1PM EST via MPH is the Baby Huey “Hell” Edition. This blind bagged release is hand painted by none other than L’amour and is limited to 9 pieces, 2 of which are mixed parts. They also come with a 11” x 17” print and will retail $150 a set! I have a feeling that these may not make it online, as these will go fast in store!
Ferg -- Misfortune Cat Minis Pre-order
Ferg's Misfortune Cat Minis (2.5") are almost here. There are 16 designs including 5 chases (plus a secret chase). From what's been shown so far, the black + green stands out as does the white and blue, and of course the GID. The translucent eyes and tongues add a great wow factor to these small gems. The mini cats are available for pre-order for $9.99 per blindbox from several retailers including Rotofugi, myplasticheart and Dekorner with an anticipated October ship date. kaNO kid Production Presents: Bodega Artist Series
It looks as though our good friend kaNO has got a little production thing going on with the return of his Bodega figure. This time he’s asked a few close buds to join in on the action, who we hope to see announced very soon. So far, all we know to be in this artist series is Toofly, as they spoke of it in the latest episode of Ya’ Heard! Show. Can we already guess that kaNO is one of the 5 artists? Who would you like to see do up a Bodega figure?
