Scott Tolleson’s growing crowd of Nosellots are proof that bookish smarts go hand in hand with snappy attire and that Argyle is on its way back. First introduced to the public as a line of plush toys, these cute brainiacs are ready for their next step towards stardom – their own show, or more specifically the ‘Nosellots Super Show Shindig’.
The group show which opens on August 11th (11 AM – 7 PM) @ Screaming Sky Gallery in Portland will feature all manner of art including paintings, sculptures and yes custom plush of the Nosellots from a talented roster (flier after the jump). Here’s a quick preview of work by J*Ryu, Mike Egan, Ajee, Frank Mysterio, and Michelle Coffee. Btw, the extended all-Saturday opening will feature signing, sketching (presumably), and all manner of silliness from Scott Tolleson himself who will make it out for the show.
