Ron English -- ‘American Depress’ for Kidrobot Black (5.29)
Ron English is on a tear. Next up for the master of Popganda is his ‘American Depress’ Kidrobot Black vinyl. Based on his humorous but painfully true painting highlighting America’s troubled economic situation, the piece’s mixing of two American icons with a dramatic sculptural composition may elevate it towards the fabled art toy/sculpture stratosphere.
